
Acorns to Oaks: Session 1
For Rising 1st – 4th Graders
The fun of ESK's environmental science program, Acorns to Oaks, is extending into summer! Join Mrs. Whitt and Mrs. Buhl for a week of outdoor fun and wilderness action. Every day will begin with a morning hike, followed by activities related to daily nature topics including, forestry, birding, wetlands, pond life, gardening, animal care, and outdoor recreation. Other activities will include playing at Camp Baker adventure course, hands-on craft and projects, and a daytime campout that includes tents, s'mores and hammocks.
Dates: June 15-19
Time: 9:00 – 3:00
Drop Off: Lower School Main Entrance
Lunch: Included (students may bring their own if preferred). Please note any allergies in the registration packet.
Instructors: Mrs. Whitt & Mrs. Buhl
Special Instructions: Campers will need a morning snack, labeled water bottle, sunscreen, and closed-toed athletic shoes each day. Mrs. Whitt & Mrs. Buhl will be in touch with more camp specifics closer to the start date.
